Product Review : Lush Granny takes a dip

Lush Granny Takes a Dip Bath Bomb 3

This must be one of the most colorful bath bombs ever. Whenever i'm feeling down it just makes me feel better again ! All ingredients are natural of course (one of the reasons why I love lush ) :Lemon oil , black butter , ginger oil and gardenia extract . So what happens when you put it in the water is that it starts to fizz and you get all the colours of the rainbow coming out of it. The water tends to go a pinkish colour after all the fizzing has stopped . My skin always feels so much better afterwards , so smooth and smells so good. It costs £3.25 so you can split it in half meaning you get a better run for your money.

Overall , I would rate it a 4/5 because I would have liked the bubbles to not fade away so quickly as they did. So if your feeling a little bit blue this is the bath bomb for you. - See that play on rhyme there oh yeaah.

Product Review : Soap and Glory Smoothie star Breakfast scrub!

I have heard of soap and glory before and a lot of people has said that it's amazing and that I should try it so I fell into peer pressure and decided to purchase this lovely maple scent scrub that smells good enough to eat. The best part about this product is that it only cost £8 for such a huge tub of scrub.

The scent is amazing . It's very sweet smelling and sometimes just for the sake of it I like to twist the cap and take a whiff in the morning because it wakes me up.
The packaging is clear and that's perfect for me because it helps me see how much of it I have used. The tub is huge and it gives you easy access to all the contents so that none are gone to waste. So thanks Soap and Glory for clever packaging.
The Scrub is very grainy which is something that I love because it makes me feel like I am getting a good scrub down. The texture is a bit sticky so it can be hard to evenly spread out. Make sure that you have damp skin when attempting to scrub you skin.

How I like to use this product: After I have washed my body with  body gel using a loofah i scoop a plum sized amount into my hands and apply it on my body. Scrub is gently and then after you have scrubbed it will turn into a milky texture which I rinse off using water. My skin is left feeling sooo smooth. Then I get out of the shower and pat my skin dry. I normally use this scrub once a week alternating with my Lush Buffy scrub .

I would give this scrub a 4/5 because it still hasnt got rid of my ingrown hairs on my legs.

Have you tried Breakfast scrub or any other Soap and Glory products ?

Facts about a good cuppa.

So this morning I decided to have some green tea , not something I usually do because I'm so busy that I rush out of the house with only an apple and a cereal bar with a "I'll be home late mum !!" . Yeah classic 18 year old.
This morning I decided to do things differently and actually have breakfast. I had green tea with toast and scrambled egg (I had to wake up a bit earlier than I usually do). So I though for the fun of it I would educate my readers about Tea. Here are a few facts , enjoy (I'll grab some tea whilst your at it):

- Tea can be used as a hair conditioner . WHAT?? yep , you heard right it makes your hair super shiny and gives it more strength and it can lighten your hair colour !
- UK people are heavy tea drinkers. We drink approximately 156 million cups of tea a day ! Wow, we really need to cut down.
- Green tea - Boosts metabolism and has antioxidants.
- Black Tea - aids digestion and increases brain function.
- Green tea is amazing because it can : lower cholesterol  levels , gives healthy skin , prevents food poisoning, strengthens tooth enamel , prevents cavities ect...
- India is the second largest industry that makes tea despite the fact that it had originated from China .
- 98% of people take milk with Tea and 45 % people add sugar to their tea!

And there you go some fun facts about that that you can just randomly spark a conversation about.
