15 Halloween dress up ideas !

There are only 3 days till Halloween , where neighbors switch off their lights and pretend that they are not home so that we do not bother them ... nice try!
Every year I tend to dress up as either a vampire , witch or a ghost and it gets pretty boring , but last year I decided to spice it up a little bit and go as Allison from pretty little liars with my #SQUAD . So I thought I'd give you guys a few ideas of different costumes you could wear . Let the listing begin ;

My Makeup Routine !

YEP , you heard that right , I'm going to be showing you my makeup routine! And if your wondering, yes that's me in the picture above. I have a fairly simple makeup routine , I don't do much to my face , but I'm huge skincare addict because I believe that if you have good skin there is no need to use foundation that just blocks your pores and takes ages to remove. So as you may have notice I don't use foundation in my everyday makeup routine . So without further ado here is how I do my makeup:

Step 1: Clean my face using the L'oreal micellar water and a cotton pad.

Step 2: I apply NYC smooth skin perfecting primer which makes my skin all lovely and shiny .... I begin to look like Edward Cullen . 

Step 3: I apply my Collection lasting perfection concealer in the shade cool medium under my eyes and I also use it to highlight my face - down the bridge of my nose , my forehead , cupids bow , my chin - basically where the natural light would hit my face. 

Step 4: I use a pencil black eyeliner , mine is the seventeen black pencil eyeliner and I use it to line my top lash line , I like to smudge it a bit to create a bit of a smokey eye effect , but not to much like I'm going on a night out. I also apply it to my waterline . 

Step 5:  I curl my eyelashes using an eyelash curler and apply the collection lengthening black mascara in a zig zag motion .

Step 6: To top it all off I moisturize my lips with the Aloe Vera lip balm and apply Sleek barely there 776 lipstick. 

And that's it folks , this takes my 5 minutes to do every morning , I don't always apply eyeliner though. I think its every important to use a primer because without a primer my concealer would probably not stay where it was throughout the day. Also I do not apply mascara to my lower lashes.

How to prepare your lips !

It's so important to prep your lips before you apply lipstick because it just makes your lipstick look 10 times better. So if I am going out or whenever I actually have time and am not rushing out attempting to catch the tube on time , I follow these steps :

1. Scrub my lips : I love using the Lush bubblegum scrub ; it keeps my lips from looking flaky especially during the winter . My lips are defiantly smoother and more pumped after scrubbing them.
2. Lip balm :After scrubbing my lips (I know it sounds a bit harsh) I apply lip balm - I use the aloe vera from Dr organics (yet it my favourite skin care brand at the moment) . It makes sure that your lips are not dry.
3. Apply concealer to my lips :This is a really important step if you want your lipstick to last and it makes the lipstick look like its actual colour on your lips as its not effected by your natural lip colour.
4. Lipstick & lip gloss  : Now it's time to apply your lipstick  and then I like to add a layer of lip gloss over it because well it just looks better and helps the colour stay on your lips for longer , its like your own protective layer!

So those are my 4 steps to how I prep my skin for my lipstick ! I would not scrub my lips every day because I have sensitive skin and my lips would then become red and inflamed so try and scrub your lips 3 - 4 times a week only.

I'm on YouTube now ! So I made a video about the different hair products that I use on a day to day basis . I hope that many of you can benefit from this video and you may realize  that I love using oils in my hair. 4 tips on how to be independent as an adult .

Recently I turned 18 and it was a big thing for me , I reached a milestone and I basically celebrated for the entire week! So I've gathered some ways that you can do to start feeling independent .

1. Get comfortable being alone 
Life is what you make of it, stop being the grouchy person on the couch and go out on your own if all your friends have "other plans" . If you want to go see that art gallery go and see that art gallery .

2.Have hobbies 
Make sure that you have a hobby because you don't want to be a couch potato watching Netflix all your life. Its important to be your own person with your own opinions on things as well. Your hobbies can be as weird and wacky as you want them to be , but the main aim is for you to enjoy them .

3. Attempt to be financially independent 
As I have just turned 18 , it not fully financially independent especially because I am still in full time education. You need to find a job that pays well and you will actually wake up to go to. You need to make sure that you know all the "adult" stuff : how to pay council tax , gas , electricity bills , water , how to work a credit card . how to not get into debit , how to rent out an apartment ect.

4. Look after yourself .
Eat properly, exercise, sleep well  and groom yourself. These things just make your life a little bit better and makes you feel less stressed out.

Being independent is the best feeling in the world , because personally the only person you can actually depend on is yourself .

Product Review : Dr Organics Rose Otto skin lotion

A night owl aren't you ? Well your in for a treat I am super obsessed with Dr Organics products so I have decided to review this product for you ! If you love Lush products then you will love Dr Organics products because they are both ORGANIC ! yep so its great for the skin.

Dr Organics Rose otto skin lotion was purchased from Holland and Barrett by accidentally applying a taster on my hand whilst my mum was buying her supplements. So I applied it and then smelt my hand and that was I became hypnotized and felt the need to buy this product . I felt awake after smelling it! All you need to be persuaded to buy this is to smell it, it smells of heaven , even though I do not know what heaven smells like , but we will role with it .
 It has a great packaging and even after you have attempted to squeeze out ever drop you can cut the top of the tube and use the rest that could not be squeezed out. This product is not only moisturizing , but it helps with anti-ageing and regenerating  the skin cells. It is so useful for the autumn /winter season especially for people who have dry skin ; it has done wonders for me dry skin , its not flaky anymore. Not only can you use this lotion on your body, but you can also use it on your face and let it act as a facial moisturizer. I recommend that you buy this if you are looking for a lotion this winter because it smells good and it gets the job done. I have no criticisms for this product it is just amazing and I will continue to purchased Dr organics skincare.

The Autumn Tag ! أسئلة الخريف

                                        
So since it is Autumn I decided to do the Autumn Tag ! No surprise there. Personally Autumn is one of my favourite  seasons because I get to wear some of my Spring clothes and some of my winter clothes and well it just looks perfect because not only do I look great , but I'm super comfy . And if you know me comfort is a big thing in my books . If i'm comfortable in those sweatpants and hoodie I will rock up to school wearing it and maybe have a nap in the informal study area whilst I'm at it.
So I've gone on a ramble here , back to the Autumn tag !

1. Favorite Autumn Lip product ?
Dr Organics Aloe Vera Lip Balm - if you are wondering where I get this product from its from Holland and Barret for £3.49 and I will do a product review on it if anyone wants :)

2. Favorite Starbucks Autumn drink ?
Personally , I am not a Starbucks fan and I don't really have a wide range of knowledge of the drinks that they sell , so I would probably go for the hot chocolate option.

3. Favorite autumn scarf ?
A blanket scarf or a cable snood preferably in the colour red and blue.

4. Favorite Moisturizer?
Now I pretty much obsessed with Dr Organics products  because I have just discovered them recently and they are just so gently to my skin especially because I have really sensitive skin . So my fav moisturiser at the moment is the Rose Otto.

5.Favourite thing to do ?
If it was up to me I would be dressed up in my PJs and be watching Netflix , but thats not really how it works because I have something called school which takes up half of my life. But on a serious note I love taking those Tumblr photos in Autumn , you know the ones with the leaves yeahhhh.

Product Review : Collection lasting perfection concealar

Hey guys I know that I haven't posted in a while , but I've been really busy with school. I've just started my A2's and I've really had to hit the ground running this year because the moment I walked into school I was told that I had two weeks to produce a 2000 piece coursework on Russia , you can imagine how I felt and the amount of reading that I had to do for it.Anyway this week my product review will be on Collection lasting perfection concealer.  

I have been using this product for approximately a month now and to be honest its nearly done , so it's not the best product if you want something that will last you a long time . Such Irony to the name. I would presume that if you use it regularly it would finish in about 2 months. I love the texture , its so matte in colour and it has pretty good coverage. I use it to hide my under eye circles and it is one of the best products that I have used so far for hiding my under eye circles and it's pretty cheap too as it retails for only £4.19 so its really a bargain. I personally like to use a medium coverage one for my under eye area and a light tone for highlighting my face, but not that often , I mainly stick to using it for covering up blemishes and under eyes.This product doesn't show any creases until after 14 hours of wearing it and I consider that to be great.
There are a lot of great things about this product , however the packaging is very bad in my opinion as the outside starts rubbing off after 1 week and sometimes we wand isn't able to reach down to the bottom of the container so its not easy to get out all the contents , therefore some of it goes to waste. However, apart from that I would definitely buy this product again and I would say that it will probably be in my makeup bag for a long time.

So yeah this product is a great product for great value so I would recommend you buy it if your not willing to go all out for a concealer like the Mac one .
