My favourite suhoor food!

Hello everyone,

So I am currently fasting for Ramadan , and it is actually not that bad this year , even though it is the longest time that I have had to refrain from drinking water and eating food. Anyways I thought that I would share with you some of favourite suhoor meals.

The first recipie that I will share with you is the cheese and tomato strata .
The name sounds delicious on it's own (I'm a huge cheese lover) .

So you need:
4 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 teaspoon of salt
4 slices of grain bread , sliced into squares
1 pint of cherry tomatoes , in halves
1 15 ounces of chickpeas
1/4 cup of basil leaves , chopped
how ever much cheese you want
2 tablespoons of olive oil

Ok , now we have all the ingredients time to get on with the method :

1. Get a large mixing bowl and whisk together all the eggs , milk and salt . Toss in the bred whilst your at it. Then put the mixture in the fridge for two hours.
2.Then once 2 hours has gone by , take the starta out and add the tomatoes in the mixture , chickpeas , cheese and basil . Make sure everything is mixed in well.
3. Heat olive oil in a large oven - safe frying pan , on medium heat and pour all the ingredients into the pan , spread everything evenly and make sure that the bread is laid flat .
4.Then bake the starta , heat in the oven until the eggs are all set and golden brown . This should take around 40 minutes. Then once it is done , take the starta out and leave it for 10 minutes to cool.
5. Get a cutting board and flip the starta on it and start slicing into the portions that you want.

Bish Bash Bosh - that is it , all done and ready to eat. See how easy it was.

The second suhoor food I love to make is watermelon and cottage cheese parfait

Ingredients:
1 cup of watermelon cut into cubes.
1 ounce of pistachio nuts crushed
1 cup of cottage cheese
1 cup of granola

Now time to make it , its so complicated , now take a breath ... are you ready ?

lAYER EVERYTHING ON TOP OF THE OTHER , WITH THE PISTACHIO ON TOP ! yippy that's it. Tarrra !

And those are my favourite suhoor recipies . Both simple and tasty. Enjoy!

Turmeric face mask

Recently I've been having problems with my skin , pimples everywhere I tell you and its been really annoying because since I've finished my exams I've wanted to go out with my friends and FREEDOM gel hasn't really helped so I started searching up some natural ways to get rid of my pimples and I came across this turmeric face mask . At first I was hesitant because it was yellow and I was scared that it would stain my face and that would be a disaster. The outcome : it did not get rid of my pimple , but boyy was I glowing and my skin felt so smooth .

I did a little bit of research before I applying the turmeric paste all over my face and it turns out that it slows down cell damage , it helps with acne , dry skin , eczema, and it also helps to even the skin tone and even banish wrinkles .

So the way that I created this sticky mask is I mixed flour , turmeric and milk. Then I applied to all over my face (be weary of the skin around your eyes) and I waited until I felt that it was dry for me to wash off . If you feel like it has started to stain you face, use a face wash and wash your face twice (that did it for me).

Coconut oil : Lips

Hey everyone,

So I thought I would just share with everyone something that I have recently discovered, maybe you already know this , but what harm is there for sharing: COCONUT OIL IS MAGIC. Yes you heard me, I'm not kiddling its like magic in a jar, not only is it amazing for your hair, but it is also amazing for your lips as well. I have recently been suffering from chapped lips and my friend told me to try applying coconut oil so I did and just after 1 hour the redness on my lips disappeared, my lips didn't feel so tight anymore and I was just amazed! So after my little urika moment I thought I would trying to make a scrub with it. Turns out coconut oil is all you really need for smooth lips. I made a scrub. The ingredients that I used where : brown sugar, coconut oil, olive oil and honey. Mix them all together and I scrubbed it onto my lips. Then I washed it off with warm water and patted my lips dry. So don't bother yourself buying a lip scrub , DIY it a save money.

Try it out and leave me a comment on how well it worked for you or if you have any other lip scrubs that you could share with me. xx

I'm back !

Hey everyone,
I know I've been gone a while, but I've just finished my A levels and I'm back, but I've realized that A levels has really changed me , not for the better, but for the worst. A levels has made me into this self absorbed person that merely cares about their grades and does not value friendship. I lost a lot of my friends in year 13 and I don't really know how we really drifted apart, but one day we were still talking and the next it was saying random hi's or giving eachother weird looks in the corridor or near the locker rooms. A levels can sometimes bring out the worst in people and they may not know it. Its said to see how much the school system has influence over us , that a few grades are more important than friends. All I can say that if anyone is starting year 13 , make sure you know who you are and make sure that you give your friends a call once in a while , check that they are ok and hang out with them, because by the time you know it , it will be the end of the year and you can never have those days back . By all means revise and make sure you do well , but don't be the fool I was and isolate yourself from people because it ends in two things, an absolutely depressing year and bad grades. So the moral of the story is , don't take yourself too seriously, have fun  and have faith.

I know this was a bit random but I thought I would just put it out there.
