PRODUCT REVIEW : SIMPLE CLEAR SKIN OIL BALANCING EXFOLIATING WASH

Now I’ve been using this facial wash for 2 months and I have to say that It’s OK, it gets the job done. I am a lover of simple products because I have sensitive skin and I never breakout when I use their products. The witch hazel helps to keep breakouts at bay so that's always a bonus.
The exfoliating beads don’t really do much for me , they don’t feel like they are exfoliating , but after using this my face feels fresh . Its more of a cleanser than an exfoliating scrub / wash  in my opinion. I use this product in the morning and in the night. After using it my face feels clean and refreshed. I personally love anything that contain which hazel as an ingredient because it has so many benefits such as treating acne , keeping your skin looking young , seals moisture and it tightens up your pores .
I would definitely recommend this product. I would give it a 5/5 because even though it doesn’t really exfoliate much it still does justice for my skin. :)

"The age of Adaline" movie review

Adaline Bowmen . I just love that historic name that seems like its traveled to places. Blake Lively is an amazing actress ; she was great in Gossip girl, but even better at portraying this worldly Adaline character. It's a romantic , fantasy movie wrapped with a little edgy immortality trick that reminds me of Dracula and even The picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. Adaline doesn't age , she's forever 29 ; she goes out of her way every 10 years or so to update her wardrobe , get a new passport ,  move town  and makes sure that she does not form any emotional attachments with anybody so that she does not get caught and become made into a lab rat. However, the twist is that Adaline falls in love with this Ellis dude who is the son of a man Adaline met and was friends with a long time ago. This is where it gets a little tricky ; the dad finds out who she is (turns out Jenny is Adaline) and she run away because she is scared of what might happen to her and that she might loose her daughter because her secret it out. On the way to wherever she was headed she crashed like she did the first time and you know lightening and water together actually reversed the aging process and she lived happily ever after with Ellis and it must have been so awkward for her daughter to have a step father that was 40 years younger than her.

Overall I would say that it was a very enjoyable film and it made me realize even more how much I adore Blake Lively as an actress because she can basically play any character ranging from a teenager to a 108 year old women who has so much wisdom yet is 29 years old. She makes you believe that she has lived for ages. It was not the best film that I have ever watched , but it was still a good film nonetheless. The voice over just made it feel a little creepy and a bit of a sleepy film . If you are into films like The notebook then you should definitely watch this.

Mini Haul ! ما اشتريت اليوم

Today I went out and did a little shopping and even though its little I though I would share it with you. As the summer has started I've been trying to build up a new wardrobe and just get ready for the summer holidays in general. The first thing I brought was the book Persuasion by Jane Austen . I am a huge fan of Jane Austen books because well that women is amazing ; i first fell in love with her novels when I was 14 and started reading Pride and Prejudice. It was a bit boring to start with, but at the end of the novel I ultimately fell in love with Mr Darcy.

As you probably realized I decided to purchase Persuasion and I will be reviewing the novel so keep an eye out for my review which will be coming very soon , by that i mean in 2 weeks time - i'm a slow reader, I like to admire each word.

Then I decided to nip into NEXT and I brought this lovely crazy T-shirt which was the last one in stock . It's colorful and different so I said why not. It was £5 , so a bargain.

Then I went to River Island and brought myself a new purse , because my old one is starting to look like a child had colored it because of how i mistreat my purse. However this summer that will not happen with my new lovely purse which i got for £14. I also invested in a little ring (it is actually a mid ring, but those are the only ones that fit into my finger) and that cost £4 . I also got a choker necklace in the colour black and pink and that cost £5 which I am totally in love with; it makes me look like a rocker chick or so I think it does .

So that was my mini Haul because London had tube strikes and I couldn't get to school so why not go shopping.

Whats are your thoughts on Persuasion , is it better than pride and prejudiced ? And what colour trousers do you think I could wear with my new T-shirt ?

6 Reasons successful people are different to normal people

1. Successful people love morning and they use them wisely.
This means that they will make sure they have sucked the energy out of that morning, they will meditate , workout or even just plan for the day ahead. They will make sure that they have a lovely thoughout breakfast not just coco pops because that what i found and oh wait i have no milk - No. A proper breakfast with Scrambled egg that contains mushrooms , sweetcorn and pepper alongside grilled tomatoes and a cup of whatever fresh juice you can blend in the morning. BAM ! You may go on your merry way .

2. Successful people don't just wish , they act.
They make plans and so should you. They make small goals to reach the big ones. They have a schedule and the stick to it.

3. Successful people make time for the things that they need done.
They are organised because they prioritize  their life . They don't make excuses and if they do they need to make sure that the excuse they make is worth it. They start their day with what needs to be done and work their way down.

4. Successful people know that they only ever need to please themselves.
As rude as it sounds it's true , but don't be selfish. You just need to know your morals and you goals and make sure that your decisions reflect well upon it.

5. Successful people learn to adapt to a change in the weather.
You just have to get on with life really because what is whinnying and complaining going to do for you - NOTHING. Adapt to the new habitat / situation or attempt to change it if you can and if its really bugging you. Suck it up and get on with reaching your goal.

6. Successful people do not look for instant gratification .
They work the the final result , because they know that all the hardship in between will soon be forgotten when they reach what they want. Gain without pain does not exist unless you are already from a millionaire family then yeaaaaaah. Work hard and luck will be on your side.

Go forth and be SUCCESSFUL because .....
                                                .

BakeHaus !!

BakeHaus ! OMG ! This is my favorite cafe in hammersmith. Its so cute. The design is pretty simple but that's what makes it so lovely. The pastries are to die for (ahhhh!) and they have a 3 for 2 offer always on pretty much . Normally on my way home I would pick up either a ciabatta Mediterranean sandwich or a black forest ciabatta for dinner . I like sitting facing the street so that I can just observe the people who pass by, its pretty entertaining; i'm not a stalker I promise . They have lovely people who serve you at the till as well, i usually spark a conversation with some of them and they are responsive so that's always great !

So whats your Favorite Cafe ?

Learn something new : How Parliament works .

Parliament . That big scary word that pretty much dictates your life. So i thought for the day after working my my youth council for so long i decided to explain to you lovelies how parliament works because whats better than a pretty lady is a smart lady ;)

Parliament debate laws. Each year our Queen opens parliament with a speech in which she sets out the laws that parliament want to pass. It is important to note that until it has been agreed on my both the House of Commons and the House of Lords , these draft laws are then called Bills. This Bill then becomes Law. The bill is again debated by the House of Commons first and the House of Lords just to make sure that this is the correct law to pass. Eventually the Bill turns into a law when everything is agreed upon and the Queen gives it to the Royal Assent. The law is now out there in the world and it is the responsibility of the civil service to make sure that these new laws are carried out.

So there you go that's how law is created. Enjoy being more knowledgeable that you were before :)

DIY: How to get silky smooth legs

I have suffered from ingrown hairs for several years and sometimes still do , but i figured out a very extensive routine to make sure that my legs looked great. So I'm going to share my routine with you .

I personally like making my own sugar scrub that I use for my epilating / waxing routine, however if you are not into making your own scrub then I recommend using Soap and Glory Breakfast scrub or Flake away body polish as they are like the best body scrubs that I have recently tried out .

So for the DIY mixture I use White / brown sugar, olive oil , honey and lemon juice . I mix everything together and the mixture will look yellowish. Once that's done i store it in a jar. Then I let my legs soak in the bath for 10 minutes just to get the pores open . Once I am out of the bath i scrub the mixture onto my legs; remember to rub the mixture in a circular motion then vertically. Then I use my loofah to scrub my legs even more with the mixture that is already on my legs. Then rinse it off with warm water . After that I use the Lush Buffy bar that both exfoliates and moisturizes my skin. Then I rinse that off and pat my legs dry. I usually wait a day after exfoliating to epilate my legs.

The next day : Time for Epilation. I personally love epilating as it give similar results to waxing (some say that it gives better results , but that's just my opinion) , but its quicker and less messy. I use the Braun silk epil 9 which i recently purchased if anyone is wondering and I love it , it gives such a close shave. After epilating my legs I apply witch Hazel onto my skin to sooth the skin so that I am not left with red bumps and it also ensures that ingrown hairs do not form (2 in 1 fabulous !).

So that's it , my leg care routine or whatever you wish to call it. I exfoliate my legs twice a week just to make sure that I have no ingrown hairs when epilating and to make sure that my legs look smooth and shinny in that summer dress of mine.

So that's my routine , whats yours ?
