DIY: How to get silky smooth legs

I have suffered from ingrown hairs for several years and sometimes still do , but i figured out a very extensive routine to make sure that my legs looked great. So I'm going to share my routine with you .

I personally like making my own sugar scrub that I use for my epilating / waxing routine, however if you are not into making your own scrub then I recommend using Soap and Glory Breakfast scrub or Flake away body polish as they are like the best body scrubs that I have recently tried out .

So for the DIY mixture I use White / brown sugar, olive oil , honey and lemon juice . I mix everything together and the mixture will look yellowish. Once that's done i store it in a jar. Then I let my legs soak in the bath for 10 minutes just to get the pores open . Once I am out of the bath i scrub the mixture onto my legs; remember to rub the mixture in a circular motion then vertically. Then I use my loofah to scrub my legs even more with the mixture that is already on my legs. Then rinse it off with warm water . After that I use the Lush Buffy bar that both exfoliates and moisturizes my skin. Then I rinse that off and pat my legs dry. I usually wait a day after exfoliating to epilate my legs.

The next day : Time for Epilation. I personally love epilating as it give similar results to waxing (some say that it gives better results , but that's just my opinion) , but its quicker and less messy. I use the Braun silk epil 9 which i recently purchased if anyone is wondering and I love it , it gives such a close shave. After epilating my legs I apply witch Hazel onto my skin to sooth the skin so that I am not left with red bumps and it also ensures that ingrown hairs do not form (2 in 1 fabulous !).

So that's it , my leg care routine or whatever you wish to call it. I exfoliate my legs twice a week just to make sure that I have no ingrown hairs when epilating and to make sure that my legs look smooth and shinny in that summer dress of mine.

So that's my routine , whats yours ?
