If there is anything I could teach you it is to never use pencil eyeliners for the top lid or when attempting a cat flick because it looks pasty and it doesn't spread as smoothly like liquid pen eyeliners or gel eyeliners. Personally , I prefer liquid pen eyeliners and I am currently using Rimmel Scandal eyeliner in the colour black .

When attempting a cat flick its all about trial and error or you could use tape to draw that straight sharp line that everyone loves. Using a waterproof pen liquid liner is best for this look as you don't want to touch your eyes and smudge it.
